We’re gearing up for Career Expo 2019!  This year’s event takes place Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Bartle Hall Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The dynamic, hands-on expo will introduce high school students to high-demand career paths in public service, connect employers to their future workforce and feature exhibitors from local government, including police, fire, health, human services, administration, parks and recreation, public works and water services, as well as representatives from colleges and universities.

Why participate?

  • INSPIRE THE FUTURE WORKFORCE – The career expo is a great way to motivate young people to pursue careers in public service and other high-demand jobs. The event will also help students understand the importance of education and learn what skills they need to be successful in the workplace.

  • GROW OUR COMMUNITY – School participation in the expo will help our region build a pipeline of talented young adults dedicated to successfully leading our communities toward an even brighter future.

  • OFFER UNIQUE LEARNING OPPORTUNITES – Supporting the expo will help schools' ongoing efforts to provide in-depth, experiential learning opportunities for today's young adults and better prepare students for life after graduation.
