Why participate in Career Expo 2017?

  • INSPIRE THE FUTURE WORKFORCE – The career expo is a great way to motivate young people to pursue careers in public service and other high-demand jobs. The event will also help students understand the importance of education and learn what skills they need to be successful in the workplace.

  • GROW OUR COMMUNITY – School participation in the expo will help our region build a pipeline of talented young adults dedicated to successfully leading our communities toward an even brighter future.

  • OFFER UNIQUE LEARNING OPPORTUNITES – Supporting the expo will help schools' ongoing efforts to provide in-depth, experiential learning opportunities for today's young adults and better prepare students for life after graduation.

Successfully hosting a premier, career-education event like Career Expo 2017 requires a great deal of planning and resources by metro-area school districts, higher education institutions, civic and business leaders. We are working with sponsors to support event-related expenses, such as ground transportation for students, meals, substitute teachers and event security.
